    In midsummer, women in our village Like to go bathing after sunset in the river near the village.

    2002, I started to work on The GRAND BATHERS SERIES to celebrate the beauty of village women. I borrowed the title “GRAND BATHERS” from Paul Cezanne, but, in form, I try to differentiate from him as well as other masters.

    I believe: DIFFERENCE MEANS ART. GREAT DIFFERENCE MEANS GREAT ART. NO DIFFERENCE MEANS NON-ART.
