Artist Bio
Novorozhkin graduated from the Lviv Academy of Art in Lviv, Ukraine. He is currently based in Chicago, Illinois. Novorozhkin has exhibited internationally and has been included in several group exhibitions at the Ukrainian National Museum in Chicago, Illinois. Using primarily oil and acrylic paint, Novorozhkin paints familiar subject matter -- landscapes, animals, portraits -- but highlights the beauty in each subject’s simplicity. He has made several site-specific murals and most recently exhibited them at the 2019 ArtExpo fair in New York.
"My creativity in painting is an eternal experiment and the search for perfection is like a chemical reaction of thoughts and feelings ... everything is beautiful from simplicity."
