      Teatro La Fenice (Theater of the Phoenix) is the opera house in Venice. It has burnt to the ground and risen from the ashes 3 times. The last fire was in 1996 and I was in Venice to witness this. It was a set fire and the arsons were arrested eventually. This pillow represents the phoenix that lives inside us all.The phoenix is an immortal bird associated with Greek mythology that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again.
